Hydrogen Peroxide Keeps Cells Healthy

Hydrogen peroxide is responsible for killing bacteria when they come into the cells. Hydrogen peroxide is started to be produced as the response of the immune system to the bacteria.

Level of hydrogen peroxide produced is controlled by
Peroxiredoxin molecule, as figured out by scientists from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After the bacteria is killed, Peroxiredoxin will go back to its normal state.
